Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until well combined. - Add the strawberry extract and buttermilk to the batter. Whisk everything together until you have a smooth and uniform batter. - Fold in the strawberry jam. - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface using a spatula. - Bake for 30-35 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. - To make the glaze: mix the mashed strawberries, powdered sugar (1/2 cup at a time), and 1 tbsp of milk.
