Ingredients:
Loaf:
1 cups white granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 large apples, peeled and grated
Crumble topping:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
4-6 tbsps of butter
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
Beat eggs, milk and butter in a separate bowl until just combined.
Gradually add dry mixture to wet until just moist. Fold in the grated apple.
Combine crumble topping with a fork until it’s crumbly. Don’t overmix.
Pour half of the mixture into the pan, then sprinkle a layer of the crumble topping. Repeat with the rest of the batter and crumble.
Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes clean. Baking times can vary so watch your loaf!
